HLCF Classic is Hampden's overproof, rebuilt around a single marque. Hampden Estate in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica, has made rum since 1753 and only began bottling under its own name in 2018; its marques are shorthand for ester levels, and HLCF — Hampden Light Continental Flavoured — sits in the middle of the range, funky and fruit-forward without the wildness of the DOK.
